Writer’s archive of Soldier of Orange housed at the Literature Museum.

The Dutch resistance fighter Erik Hazelhoff Roelfzema (1917–2007) is better known by his nickname, Soldier of Orange. His experiences during the Second World War, which he recorded himself, continue to capture the imagination to this day. On Tuesday, April 23, his literary archive was officially transferred by his daughter to the Literature Museum / Children’s Book Museum in The Hague.
